I saw a guy putting 91 RON in an XR6T the other day...made me cringe.

Anything turbocharged or with a high CR thats been run on a lower octane fuel than recommended, should be avoided....no exceptions (except maybe if he knocks about 6k off the price for a new, non-pinged short motor).
