Have had a few over the years Prado is great in a Td but you will probably only get a Petrol for 15k (I have been looking for another myself) Hilux 2.8 is underpowered even in Td so try for the 3.0l as they are also geared a bit better for Hwy, Have driven Father-in-laws 100 series Td auto heaps and it is great tows well and shit hot in the sand.
Steer clear of Pajero's have killed 2 at Wedge with very little effort...... nuf said
