Maybe if you dont have any training, this might be true, but you have any medical or first aid training, then you can and most likely would be charged for failing to assist.

However, there is protection in place (to a degree) for anyone assisting however, if you actions are wreckless, no matter how good the intentions, you can sued.

In the end, the most important thing to remember is, if someone at the scene has the training and you dont let them look after the person. DONT BLOODY ARGUE WITH THEM!! (Had this before where someone decided to start an arguement with me on looking after someone who had come off his motorcycle on Albany Hwy. I knew what I was doing, they sure as f*%# didnt.)
