Hi guys,
Just after some advice on what to do about this timing belt that I received.
I ordered a timing belt kit and it come in a small box for a LED down light and the belt appears to have been wound very tightly.
When reading tutorials on changing the timing belt it was made very clear not to bend the belt more than the circumference of the pulley or it can snap the fibreglass cords and damage the timing belt permanently.
There is a company that sells timing belts and pulleys giving detail about it here as well:
Timing Belt Handling & Storage | Pfeifer Industries
Just wondering if you guys think its reason for replacement as potentially its a engine rebuild or changeover on the line.
Thanks for any advice.
