Its definitely quicker....noticed by everyone thats been in the car before and after.

Im very happy with it so far....especially GTI for their service. Took down the drags last week for the first time (my first time ever) ...managed to run a 13.0 ...but couldnt get my launch right and my reaction time was slow as well....well I put that down to age...Im getting on

Question??. Goin on that dyno...and the fact Im running a dog box (and exedy racing clutch) ....what/how would be the best way to launch this thing??

Reaction time counts for nothing at WAW if you are just looking to run a good time, so ignore it. Are you running a synchroless, dog engagement gearbox or just a gearbox with straight cut gears? either way, my personal preferance is to load up on the limiter and sidestep the clutch.

Im running straight cut 1st, 2nd only....

I was loading up but not enough....dont know why I was kinda hesitant to go beyond 5k revs ....spose breaking 2 boxes before makes ya like that :P

well as its a straight cut 1-2 box (not a dog box) you should be able to be pretty savage on your launch. I'd still be gentle going into 3rd though as they are pretty week on the stock box. get some good wheel spin and keep the throttle pinned.
