Autoglym AUS - Cleaning up your hubcaps
If you’ve got a car with hubcaps, it’s important to clean them regularly to help keep your car looking its best. Hubcaps are generally made from plastic and thus, it’s important to use a non-harsh cleaner such as Autoglym Engine & Machine Cleaner. First, take off your hubcap. Some are held on by the wheel nuts while others simply clip into the wheel. Coat the hubcap in Engine & Machine Cleaner and agitate the solution with a soft-bristled brush. Then simply rinse off the hubcap to reveal a clean finish. After that it’s simply a matter of repeating the process with the rest of the hubcaps. If you want to go that extra step, use Autoglym Clean Wheels to clean your steel wheels whilst the hubcaps are off. Spray a liberal amount onto the steel wheel and agitate using a soft-bristled brush to clear any road grime and brake dust. Rinse the wheel off and move onto the next wheel.
