autronic question..
 

hi i have smc pnp for a my00 wrx... i had it installed by rms over 1 year ago..
now for some reason in hot days and driving for a while the engine cuts out and i have to restart it every time i come to a stop..
has any one out their with autronics have the same problem or could tell me what to look for like the temp sensor? any help would be great..

It just sounds like a simple tuning issue. Get any of the recommended shops to have a look at the map whilst its hot. Just needs further fine tuning.. as per all fully integrated ecus :)

Is it a straight cut out ? .. Or do the rev's slowly drop off and off until it stalls ??

its only when i ready to spot revs slowly drop and then cuts out.. only when the engine is hot on a hot day.. in the cold its ok.. thats why i think it might be the temp sensor or i could be wrong.. what do you think?

temp sensor could be on its way out...

funny thing is the temp sensor was replaced when i got the autronic installed and 4 months later in the summer it started..
and its not easy to check the temp sensor...
