The SM4 is a replacement ECU, so there is no need to do anything to your current ECU.

PM me if your considering selling your stock ECU.

It plugs into your factory wiring harness - no need to chop wires.

They remove the factory ECU case and remove the circuit board and install the Autronic board in its place all connectors plug back in.

PLUG N PRAY

Out of interest, what do you intend to gain from going to the SM4?

Putting it out there before I dig further, or call ASG to double check.

A/C related question when running an Autronic SM4.

On the stock ECU, when car has accessories on, and you have the A/C on you can hear and see the A/C thermo fan crank up.

Noticed since I had the SM4 installed, this does not happen. Does anyone have any knowledge around A/C when using a SM4? Are there any settings on the SM4 which govern or control A/C parameters?

Cheers
