Default Nissan 350z – A Modern Classic

The Z badge is quite an important one in the history of motoring. One of the first cars to bring affordable Japanese sports cars to the masses, the Z showed the world what Japan had to offer in when it came to building everyman sports cars. Developing quite the following since its inception in 1969, the Nissan Z has enjoyed a number of model updates and changes, slowly changing focus from a corner-carving sports car to a smooth luxury cruiser.

In 2002, Nissan brought the sports car spirit back to the Z moniker with the 350z. Despite being built and designed from the ground up, the 350z stuck to the same basic Z formula, featuring a long hood, short deck design with two doors, rear-wheel-drive and a robust 6-cylinder powerplant. The 350z was fitted with a naturally-aspirated 3.5L V6 starting with a healthy 214kW, with power slowly increasing across the 350z’s timeline.

The 350z was designed to be the perfect driver’s car. Despite being on the heavier side of things, the 350z handles like it’s on rails, due in no small part to the Z’s enormous rear track. That, coupled with the smooth power delivery from its 3.5L V6 and the 350z is just as much a joy cruising along the open road as it is carving up a mountain pass. A good brake setup is essential in making the most of the 350z’s immense performance capabilities, and Bendix has the brake pads to suit your needs.

The Street Road Track brake pad is an ultra-high performance brake pad for the road going race car. With its high friction mu and extreme tolerance to heat, the 350z can go hard and stop harder, every time. The specially developed shims reduce heat and noise, enhancing the Street Road Track performance on the track, and useability on the street.
