Anyone keen for a group buy?

Hmm Interesting..
Only last week I fired off some emails around the world looking for group buy prices for the new Go Pro HD Hero2.. I was about a week or 2 away from posting a GB post..

This is considerably cheaper..
Need to do some more research. Vid looks pretty good.

how are they on wind noise compared to the gopro?

Very keen for a group buy on one. Would like to know how they compare to the go pro hd 2 though.

If someone has one, i have a Go pro HD 2 ill be happy to compare it to. Could be done at the Skid pan im going to on the 1st of July?

As a sound engineer I can assure that microphones measure differences in sound pressure and wind is a movement of air to alleviate differences in sound pressure.

If you don't like wind noise then mute the audio. Essentially, if attempts were made to alleviate wind noise the "normal" sound recording would be poorer.

We use "socks" or sibilance screens in studios which certainly wouldn't stop wind noise if it was outside a moving vehicle at speed.
