Happily watching the bledisloe cup on channel 7 when reception disappears, again.


Im getting quite hacked off with this, when ever there is a sporting event i want to watch in 7 the digital HD drops in and out before disappearing completely.

I have read on a few media forums that Channel 7 is doing HD on the cheap with sub par equipment.

can anyone confirm or deny? and is your working?

It works on mine but it takes ages (read probably 30 secs) to find the signal when you flick onto it. All the other stations come on straight away but 7hd takes for ever.

Mine does it mainly on 7 but nowadays badly on 10 but 1HD is fine.. Go figure.

Your area must have shit reception, i live just south of the city and use
one of those mega old "coil antennas" hooked up to my set top box and mine
is crystal clear and never drops out even in the biggest of storms

Foxtel ftw, not very often i watch normal tv, or even fox for that matter but good to have it there for when i do.

Havnt noticed any drop outs though.

All my HD channels work perfect.

Foxtel now has as may adverts on it as free to air and repeats its self every day.

yeah but at least your have more choice of repeats haha. and i love music channel on in the background all the time.
