Japanese Wholesalers -

well you would think seeing they :

'One of Australia's largest importer and wholesaler of pre-owned Subaru parts and cars based in Wangara, Western Australia. We specialise in half cuts(front and rear), cars for race and rally, engines and gearboxes and all parts, panels etc

WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT!!!!! you think they would know what a the correct starter motor would be especially if you take the dam car there, but no not once but twice did i get the wrong starter motor given to me.

So what should take 3-5hrs to fix has taken 4 days becuase these guys cant get right. I decided that i would try my luck somewhere else & went back for my money & i got cheek from them to the point that they said yeah good luck going somewhere else & if you come back we will charge you more. F------- D------

Seriously from super cheap you would expect something like that but from these guys who is a specialist in these cars.

& after speaking to some other people they also didnt have positive experiences.

so to sum it up i wont be using them again for anything i would rather drive around or get it from over east.

everyone makes mistakes.

blue.spec 28-08-2009 02:37 PM

why didnt you take yours off and tell them to match it?

WRP10 28-08-2009 02:41 PM

I got given three wrong starter motors in a row for the liberty about 9 months ago, i feel your pain, its a fucking long drive to just have to go back out again the next day, glad i dont drive a parts whoreing Subaru anymore so i dont have to deal with them.

JDM_STYLE 28-08-2009 02:49 PM

Good luck!

and the prices are all over the shop depending on who you talk to. The old boy up there wanted $650 for a diff only, but the younger guy quoted $500 including shafts...(i.e. dont deal with the old boy, i think he's the owner)

low rider 28-08-2009 03:07 PM

yeah i've had that before as well

x2. Thats how I work. That way you don't even have to know what
the fuck you're holding... just say "Gimme one of these doohickies"
and you're done.

WRX-911 28-08-2009 03:11 PM

MR PSI - yeah people make mistakes & you accept that but its the way you/they go about fixing the mistake that counts!!

blue.spec - actually drove in, yeah in future will probs do that but you assume that after the first mistake you wouldn't give the second one & give the good old 'um that should fit it'

WRP10 - yeah thanks man, well like i said earlier make the mistake fine, its the way you try to resolve it. cheers

JDM - there are many subaru specialist around thought i would use a one closer to the place the car is staying at.
what the guys there dont understand is the customer service also counts not just becuase you sell something people need will they always come back. i would rather pay the extra $20 else were & drive then give money to business that dont appreciate it.
bridges yeah probably but hey they burnt theirs too.

it costs a business more to get new customers then it does to keep them.
