Pissed off Rant Rant!!!!!

Sooooooooooooooo it all started on Wednesday when I went to Boost Juice to pick up some shakes for work colleagues, put them down on the floor and they tiped over 'none of the tops were put on properly'.

Couldnt get a detailer out till Friday so my car smelt like a rancid fruit factory.

Got a detailer out and what does he do? Decides the immobiliser keypad needs a bath and flattens the battery without telling me

So I go back to my car 'obviously doesnt start', get jumper leads out, kicks over but wont turn on.........

Called the detailer, and had to listen to about 7 call backs stating 'I cant do anything till I speak to this person', 'I'm still waiting for this person to get in contact with me' etc etc.

So I eventually get the owner on the line, and he tried to pick holes in my story 'fair enough I thought', got annoyed at this point in time and flatly asked 'how are you going to rectify this?', he replies back 'I'm not going to pay for this as it means I accept responsibility, and I dont', 'You're welcome to come out and have a look if you want', was my reply, to which he wasnt interested.

So after letting them run for a bit I thought fuckit, wouldnt it be in your best interests to organise a mobile mechanic/electician to come out and have a look at it? he replies back with 'I will have to get in contact with the detailer to get further information on what happened', ..................................... Car doesnt start mate, its that simple!

(heaps of shit flicking inbetween, of them trying to weasel out of it)

Sooooooooooooooo I get another call back with them telling me to sort it all out myself, and if its under 'a couple of hundred dollars', we will pass on our credit card details to the subcontractor or else it will need to be claimed on our insurance, 'like anyone in the mobile automotive industry gets out of bed for anything under a couple hundred call out, let alone labour etc'.

So far the fixing of this fuckup has cost me around $600, and now I have to get the vehicle towed to Subaru to have it reset 'call out guy bypassed the alarm system but informed me that the ECU is disallowing the engine to fully engauge, locked out or someshit, cant remember the terminology.

To make matters even better, when I took the car out in the sun, the detailer hadnt even bothered to wipe the plastic polish off the guards, quarters, lower door skins etc, and had decided a complete hand polish only relates to where you can be bothered polishing  'I usually do this myself and am pretty fusy but it was only an additional $15 on top of the interior clean 'inb4 you get what you pay for, detailing job cost me $200!'.

Used my fathers car to go get the battery charger from his workshop today 'this was before the call out guy came', went to fill it up, returned back and the battery was flat :mad::mad::mad:

Will see what the damage is going to be tomorrow when palmed off to Subi Osborne Park.....

/End Rant

damn man thats rough. was the person who detailed your car running it as a business or just someone with "skills"? All i can say in the future in terms of car detailing is use those who are highly recommended, or detail it yourself. Even though if you do it yourself it will take longer, but you know that your in control of everything that your car goes through.

Chin up...

http://www.demondetailing.com.au/ is the mob I used.

Gave Andrew at Wax On Wax Off Mobile Car Detailing a call 'due to all the awesome feedback on forum', but he's booked solid due to motorvation.

Usually do it myself but just wanted the interior done professionally, learnt that lesson the hard way ;)

Will wait and see if they are true to their word in re-imbursing 'ALL', associated costs.

Should take the car and show the boss the shit job the detailer
did once you get the alarm sorted.
