Im pretty sure they are just fitting the cat, well thats what we've been told

Hey Jessw.

Keep us all informed of the outcome, as it will put alot of Rex owners who have Zorst mods to know what is classed as legal/illegal (mainly as far as size and noise is concerned), and if it is just the fact its due to a cat being fitted and it passes, it will put us in a better light

The car is yellow free now!!!! Exhaust tip passed no worries this morning (Everyone was correct size is not an issue). After the cat converter was put in Tony was able to sneak in last at the pits this arvo passed straightaway! I think the db reading was 78. something.

They tried to do us for illegal tint but we had got it done when we bought it. Its the darkest legal luckily Tony had the receipts.

The sound is bit quieter especially on idle but thats all good at least i know now if i get pulled up again we are all legal!

If you can get pics of the mid section of the exhaust where the
cat goes then we'll be able to see if they've put a Std cat section
in or put a cat into your original piping.

Knowing them they would have just done a quick cheap fix.

Nope just got charged the intial pit fees then the second return fee. Do they just pick and choose who to charge for the test???

There's a moratorium on IM240 emission testing. Don't ask the dpi as they can't say what's happening and don't ask the pits themselves they don't know either. It's up in the air, so it's normal dpi dependent evaluation at this stage.

I.e. nothing to be concerned about.
