Worst thing is as much as we would want to keep driving.
It would be us driving who would be locked up for hit and run .

But who knows how any of us would react in the same siutation at the time.

I had a situation a few years back where I nearly cleaned up a pair of boongs in Mandurah. In the middle of the road at 2am and i shat so locked on the brakes. Not entirely sure but I think i clipped one with my mirror, if not it was close. I was hell pissed and wanted to go back and find out WTF was the prob. Thought best of it not to as it was about 2am and they were non reflectives.

Few weeks later i heard that there had been a spate of car jackings around that area.

Benefits of a loud exhaust include:

- people knowing that youre accellerating towards them and not braking when they try to play chicken with you.

ha ha! nahh not up on youtube i don't think...i tell ya though i've got my eyes peeled open for that registration and because i was in the Liberty at the time - they won't suspect me if I do come across them again because I'm making a point of driving my rex 100% of the time now (instead of 99% of the time).

BTW does anyone know if I ring the cops (the 131444 number is what I originally called) and ask about about the incident / report whether they would tell me if anything came of it all?

you would be better ringing finding out what cop it got assigned to and then contacting him directly and asking about it
