Please report all roads that are in need of repair within the shire of wanneroo to the city of Wanneroo as soon as you identify an issue.

Under Part 1C, section 5Z of the civil liability act of 2002, a person may not recover damages from a local government authority in Western Australia for any accident on a public thoroughfare under their control in circumstances where the authority had no prior knowledge of the hazard.

Please notify these hazards before any more cars are damaged and you have to pay for their neglect of the roads we pay for

The act has precedents set and acted upon.

Do not waste your money on lawyers or the like, you will lose.

This is why insurance premiums keep rising, you have to claim on your own policy.

I reckon the councils are getting away with murder, how easy is it for them to deny prior knowledge on any claim made!!

Who checks their records, isn't this why we pay tax and rates, fukwits....

Just been through this in Bussleton ... Pothole cost me a rim. Council denies prior knowledge.

The court room isn't where you beat councils, its in the media where you get them.

The issue is Doug is up for a new strut, rim and then painting in 'burn' my eyes green!

The problem is ... people dont give a fuck

Joe average hits pothole, has a sook, keeps driving.

The rate of report vs complaint in my real shows people are more likely to whinge once its too late than report it.

Should be done everywhere and IMHO there should be a central reporting method through main roads who manages it.

Curious how they claim/prove they don't have prior knowledge? Wouldn't they still have a duty of care regardless?
