Carmods AU website

Afternoon chaps,

Does anybody else CONSTANTLY have issues with their website? Haven't been able to access the store for about a month (constantly getting cloudflare offline error) and website is always super slow to load when it is actually up.

Really shits me off because I'm trying to check out my options for rotors/pads/lines and weigh up some pricing, GSL rallysport's website is stupidly difficult to find what you are looking for any more (even if I search "GR STI ROTORS" i get 35973 pages of pads for colts and various other cars that have no compatibility with my STI, funniest results were getting dash mounts when looking for rotors - yes I've tried altering my search parameters, nothing works, and now that they've changed their site I have to keep scrolling down and wait for each new section to load, just such a bloody pain in the ass)
I'm basically forced to use US sites, and with how our dollar is right now, plus postage costs it's often difficult to get an exact price, thus screwing with my budgeting.

It's a huge shame because when carmods is actually working, it's probably the most well designed website for after-market parts I've ever come across.

TL;DR Is carmods AU constantly offline and slow for you? Just making sure it isn't something on my end (but I'm pretty sure it isn't). Rant rant rant, shitty websites, vent vent vent. Ty.

Rally sport is piss easy dude. Put in what year and car you have and then choose from the different categories and only parts specific to your car will show up.

Dont have a problem accessing carmods, though their new website is stupid slow.

perfectrun or RHDJapan will be cheaper

Rhd is cheaper on both price and shipping than rally sport now. And they can do three day shipping. Otherwise hit Mao for parts is another option.

using the Perth-WRX mobile app
I do a tonne of browsing & purchasing of CMA and I have never had a cloudflare issue, perhaps stop spamming it and cloudflare will let your botnet in ;)
Checking it once every couple days is hardly spamming, and lel botnet.

Rather interesting that it just seems to be me :/

Are you talking about Rallysport direct or GSL rallysport? If GSL, where do you enter make and model? If rallysport direct, yes I know, it's great, but American as I said.

might try flushing my cache later when I cbf

Never encountered that before with the site. Shit ISP?

Jezza 04-03-2015 11:30 AM

I normally get that screen with some torrent sites. Normally just hit the 'retry live version' up the top right corner of the page and it will load.

That said, I'm sure Greg at GSL would be happy to provide you with some figures over the phone. He has always been great to deal with in the past for me.

I get that same error logging on to Antilag some times. Pisses me off. Figure it's something to do with the increasingly dodgy porn sites I visit infecting my computer.

Captain Awesome 04-03-2015 08:18 PM

Got around to clearing my cache, cookies, history, etc etc. Still getting the same error message, tried different make and model vehicles, same error.
I would tend to agree that maybe iiNet is being shit, but it's ONLY carmodsau, don't have this problem with any of my shady porn sites or illegal bomb making guides.

Kind of at a loss, I guess i'll have to call around to get the info I want - I'm a bigtime researcher and "browser" though, I keep an eye on prices and what's new and out there partwise, so this will be a bit shit.
