Default Light upgrades for Classics

What is available for my99/classic GC8 cars to upgrade the front lights.

Do HID's look shit in crystal 99 headlights?

Are there any high quality aftermarket twin light conversions that are available?

The morette seems to be the only one. Does anyone know where it could be bought in OZ?

It is also made by Morette. They do bumpers too. I agree, it is one of the best Gc8 ones I have seen and does not look ricetastic.

What are the stock bulb rating and size for the classics? I use Narva Plus50's h4's in my GT and they are quite a bit better than the old bulb's.

Cheap too, $30 or so for a set.

Stock GC8 bulbs are 55w/60w H4s.

Ive seen a few people run higher wattage bulbs like 75W/80W H4s with out any problems and it is possible to get 90W/100W H4s. But I would recommend upgrading the wiring if you are going to use 90/100W H4s as the stock wiring may not be able to handle long periods of time with 90/100W globes on. Could melt the wiring and get a short.

And HIDs will still be brighter than 90/100W halogens. So if you do a lot of night driving, get some HIDs on the low and high beam.
