Shake Shake Shake!

Hey all, I was hoping someone might point me towards the best form of deadener for my boot lid. I've had twin subs in the boot for ages, and I'm really getting sick of just how shitty they make the lid rattle around. Today I was bored and stuffed a shitload of towels and stuff into the bootlid to see if it would take the noise out, and hey presto! it worked. But I'd kinda prefer something like a foam or anything to put into it to take the tinny sound out of it. Any help?

Dynamat.....

yeh go the dynamat, i had 4 x 15's in a GQ and it rattles like fark til i had the whole interior except roof dynamatted - made a massive difference!

Dynamat is your best option. But if you have spoiler on like most WRX its not going to stop that from rattles.

i would also suggest using a bit of liqued nails around the part were the skin of the boot lid attaches to the under frame.

I found with my old silver it came un-done after a while.

So far it hasnt happend on my WRX

Anyone got pics of it in their car? Thanks to everyone for the help, but seeing as I'm still in SA I'll have to find it elsewhere.

How much effort was it to put it in your wagon Kym? Thinking its about time to get rid of the Honda Civic Boot Rattle myself.

I have been told the taxi will take 2 sheets per door and then I guess 6 sheets in the boot. Ramon probably knows exactly how much. I will see if he checks this thread if not I will PM him and find out. I don't need it straight away, I am that broke right now, I can't even pay attention.
