insert a flat head screw driver above the vent's and one on the side about stereo height, and just pry it off, its held on by some clip's. It should just pop out.

Simple.

Pop the cupholder out, and undo the two screws that hold that in. Pull the whole cupholder assembly out. This will give you room to grab the top of the dash fascia.

Remove HVAC knobs, and then grab the fascia from the top (from where the cupholder was sitting before you removed it). Pull it out, and it'll unclip. Unplug the HVAC controls and put the fascia aside.

You can then unscrew the stereo and slide it out, and unplug it. Done

Alternatively, you can just use a screwdriver like Kym said, without removing the cupholder. I like to do it with my hands rather than a screwdriver though, because there is less risk of breaking or scratching anything.

microfibre cloth around the end of the screwdriver and patience stops any damage occuring

however, getting impatient, swearing about it, and forcing it out, will usually result in tears... and a broken stereo surround.

I nearly broke my surround when I first attempted it, until I realised how simple it was, then I felt dumb
