Default Painting Side Door Dent Trim

Hi,
wanted to know where to get the side door dent trim thingy painted (dont know the proper name for it, if you do can ya let us know) see picture link, or attached picture (both the same ones just smaller than the other)
http://img514.imageshack.us/my.php?i...img0578mf8.jpg

i dont really want to get rid of it has with my prevoius car I'm not really a fan of door dents, my cars a rally blue,
I havn't seen the door trim thingy on any other rex's so i wasn't sure who could paint them or whether they come in blue? the other thing is say if i get it spraypainted putting it back on wat glue would they use to hold it back on?

would a spraying painting buisness be fine (providing i get the right paint for it) would they stick it back on?

Cheers for any help,
Ben

i have seen them on a few gx's etc in the 06/07 years, but not ever on a WRX. Surely, they were a factory option.. and not a good one!

I would just rip them off, don't do fuck all anyway.

Just watch when removing them.. Depending how long they been there they tend to like taking paint off. Panel shops 9/10 wont paint them due to the small job it is..

Option is to go down and get a spray can made up and spray them urself pretty easy 2hr job if done right. Scuff it up, mask it, plastic prime it, then paint it blue and finish i with some clear. I would personally leave them on and mask up around them.. have fun mate

Agreed.... thats why I asked if they were plastic or rubber as the paint for rubber is quite expensive from what I have heard as the compond or something is harder to adhere to and flex???

True spec IV very true but most of the time as long as you prep them well and use either a plastic primer or rubber primer they will come out very nice...

I can remember when i painted mine on my old car i used a plastic primer and it come out pretty well. Noone noticed and looked the goods.

Just remember mate 90% prep 10% painting and all should be good.

Umm, I'm not quite sure, they seem like a hard rubber, but that's not to say there plastic, it doesnt seem as hard as plastic though,

My wrx is an 06 MY 07 so they wouldn't of been on for to long, but thats, let me do the math, a bit over a year there've been on, I didn't get them put on, the prevoius owner before me either got them put on or they came with it,
