crap radio reception:

all the searching ( here & Rexnet ) i've done comes up with 01+?

is the wiring the same for GC/F in regards to radio/radio "booster" wires?

....or could it be something else?....

deck is an Alpine 9856? ive tried a couple of wires but neither seemed to be the correct ones... one wire seemed to work but made the amp not work on radio but work on Cd's/iPod??????

the wiring behind the deck was shocking when i bought it and as a result i had to remove the factory plug, fix wiring, as the previous owner butchered it all.

ideas?

Hooked the power antenna wire up? Without that 02+ will have no reception.

.... i'm talking GC/F?? not sure if the power antenna wire is applicable for classics?? well, that's what i'm hoping ot find out anyways
