Default Tighten bonnet release

Can someone please tell me how to tighten this.. atm when U pull it... it doesnt do anything unless someone is pulling up the bonnet at the same time (or I use a bbq fork to wedge the lever open between the foot pedals while I run to the bonnet and pull it up) Thanks!

Ok no probs.

Check that the bonnet is lined up properly with the height of the guards. On the corners of the rad support are the rubber adjusters. Wind these up to move it up, and down to move it down. When this is right try opening it. If no luck still, remove your grill and from memory there are 2 12mm bolts. Loosen these and push the catch down a smidge. Tighten bolts and try again. Repeat as necessary.

Try getting a new mechanic. They usually get stuck if not lubed properly each service. Spray some wd40 or a little engine oil down in the lock mechanism under the bonnet.
