i've got the Focal 165vr polyglas slims in my wagon because of the doors and wanting them behind the factory trims, everyone whose had a listen have all given great reviews. I absolutely love them, got them actually through Northfield Moorooka in Queensland.. in fact my whole stereo in my car got shipped over from them.

Yup I'm running the same (well, was in my old car, with -3 on tweets) but I do tend to like that brighter sound myself (Probably why I own a dozen cymbals for my drum kit)

I can help you out, and have you seen some of the latest focal releases?
I quite like the new 3 way set, and they also have some sets with a lower impedance than the average 4ohm most manufacturers produce.

Focal FTW.
I was running Polyglass 165V2's active pushing a true 150WRMS into the woofer alone (rated at 70WRMS) and 60WRMS into the tweeter and they loved it. I ended up going back to passive XO's because I found the tweeter was a tad bright when run active - admittedly, to conquer this I replaced it with a TN46 Kevlar tweet.

They took a punishing and sounded awesome all the time and I sold them to a mate and they are still going strong.

You cannot go wrong with focal..

I just hope my Morel Elate 6 that I am installing this weekend can compare
