Mechanically V3 and V4 are identical. The wiring and interior (dash etc) are the only changes, and they're major changes as you have found out. Your V3 doors won't plug into the dash anymore either.

The Gearbox is a late Version 2 Ra. It will have a 0.97 5th so it'll be pretty short on top end even with the 3.9 diffs. Earlier ones had a steel top cover with sealant where the wiring exits, yours is late V2 as it has the cast alloy top. Everything from V3 onwards is 4.44. The drop gears are unique to a dccd box, so don't mix them up or lose them. The transfer case is the same as VCD.
