I fitted HID kit myself, not hard, just fiddly. As for changing indicators, thats not exactly rocket science either.

Evolution R sells/fits HID kits. In addition, Narva also sells HID kits - I think you can buy them from Coventrys/Repco/AutoOne/etc.

i bulked brought some from japan. had brought 10 for a good price. $350 h4 5 8000k and 5 6000k

if anyone knows any workshop that can gurantee the moisture won't get in the headlights after rain/washing ur car (HD gets fogged up), pls tell me as i've yet to see one.

as for HIDs work, go see darren @ Technik if you want things done right

Likewise here.

Bump for an old thread, i'm not too keen on doing it myself. But if someone else has done theirs, with no drama's, i'd like to hear from them. Otherwise i might just buy a whole new housing from Japan, which are blacked out and clear.

do the jap ones still get get the yellow indicator on the front of the headlight?

they are clear with no yellow inserts, but i am not sure about the "black out" statement made previously as i've yet to see one.

ive done it...

cleared the headlights.. only had one which had some moisture for some reason.. Completely fixed now with the addition of sikaflex.

I think it looks soo much better clear.
