Will a 05 STI 6 Speed Gear Knob & Boot fit a MY99 WRX GC8??

Does anyone know??

I'm 99% percent sure they both won't fit but maybe an expert can 2nd that for you.

I think he's saying neither will fit.

Gear boot is a completely different shape/design. May be able to be modified/butchered.
05 sti gear knob will be 6 speed, and hence have a different gear diagram on it.
Not sure about threads. Good chance they're different.

It's a conversion, i think your tail shaft and diff need to be either changed or modded plus a few other things.

It'll cost you anywhere between 6-9k roughly but it's all worth it in the end =p
