I wanted to know what is a good sub+amp to get.
what brands are good and what brands sound better?

im into like the typical top 10 music. such as rnb,hiphop,trance,house etc.

what he said, and correct me if I'm wrong but most car stereo outlets don't want to touch you unless you're spending minimum $3k now days 'for a set up'?

In my old car I was running Alpine DDD Splits, Lightning Audio Amp, 2 x Lightning Audio Subs and some Pioneer 6x9's as rear fill.

MQ Quartz splits also still seem pretty popular.

I've got MB quartz up front, they're pretty good mid-priced speakers.

But yes, it depends what you want from it, and what you are willing to spend...

im just after a sub and an amp. just want the doof doof. lol
