STI Black rim paint code
 

Would anyone happen to have the colour code for the Black (Enkei I think) used on the STI rims or a close match.
Does the STI black have metal flake through it and is it a gloss,matt or flat.
I have only ever seen it in pictures or going past me hence the questions.

Hey guys, I know this is a bit of a resurrection however I would love to know what this code is! My dad's STI tuned has these rims and I do love them. I'de like to paint my standard gold STI rims this colour however i'll obviously need the colour code.

Seriously though, if you want to get them painted same colour bring the car along to be matched up against?

What year and models rims are you asking about, the reason I
ask is as far as I know the STi's up until 2008 with the last being
the 2007, all came with Gold rims with the exception of the JDM
1997 V3 Type R that came in yellow with Black rims.

Hahaha, oh I've thought about it many times! If I can't get the code then I'll have to do that.

That's a huge link to a photo of them, they were a factory extra from 05 I believe, came standard on the STI tuned.

Just did some searching:

Without being technical as I can't find a code they are being referred to as metallic charcoal.

Just a STi aftermarket rim you could order through the parts
department at the dealership etc which would generally be
ordered and sent from Japan but certainly not a factory extra
that was fitted on any ADM delivered STi.

However yes you are correct they came on the "Tuned by STi"
edition of the WRX model and they also came on the "Tuned by
STi" edition of the Liberty models in the "Charcoal" colour which
were both Docklands specials.

* Bit of useless off topic info but the rims also came in silver and
white for JDM models such as RA, A-Line, RA-R and R205 specials
but had different widths compared to the ones that were available
in Aus.

There were first released on the 2006 STi Spec C RA in Silver.
(as I said all this is useless info but thought I'd put it up anyway) :D

PM "MY00GC8" which is James and he works at City Subaru and he
might just be able to find out a colour code if it has one, otherwise
just take them to your chosen painter/powdercoater and get them to
make up a similar colour. :D :thumbsup:
