Repaired and Re-Sprayed Club Spec Rims
 

Hey guys/girls,
Have a 2006 WRX Club Spec 9, got my rims back, resprayed and new tyres put on here's what i did the last week and a half.
Needed new tyres (previous owner damaged the rims with curb scratches on all rims everywhere. Decided while getting new tyres to get my rims repaired and resprayed too.

1. Took off 18' Club Spec 9 rims on (saturday)
2. Put old GC8 Rims with tyres to get my around (saturday)
3. Dropped off to bridgestone to remove old tyres (monday morning)
4. Dropped 18 " Rims off at Alliance Rim Repairs (monday afternoon)
5. Picked rims up from Alliance @ 5pm and took them straight to In-Style Customs Bibra lake for Re-Spraying @ 6pm (thursday afternoon)
5. Picked up rims from instyle on saturday.
6. Dropped rims off to Tech 9 Tyres on Monday got Nexen N6000 225/40/18 and booked in car on thursday to get them put on.

Heres the finished product

They are a Anthracite grey colour with blue speckles in the paint very happy with the result and time it took. :)

what did the tyres set you back?
and did the 16inch gc8 wheels clear the rear brakes

Definitely achieved an awesome result there mate, out of curiosity what was the repair cost for the rims?

1. Tyres $720 for 4 Nexen N6000 225/40/18 advised by the guys @ tech9tyres and antilag group.
2. Rim repairing $44 per tire, $66 extra per flat spot = $240 including gst
3. Instyle Custom paint job $600 any colour you like

yes the GC8 Rims did clear all brakes but i dont think would clear if i had an STI (brembo's)

For what its work, ive heard alliance is shithouse at repraying rims.... someone i know got it done there and was unhappy with there results due to drip spots on rims and said to them it was unacceptable.

So i took it to Ruben from In-Style who is awesome at custom paint jobs for Car's and he did a killer job :)
