Ok, I would like to know if anyone has had any experience in installing a set of front GRB STi seats onto the SF5/SG (Forester), GC/GD (Subaru) series?

Some incompatability:
1. Mounting points on the front of the seat rails to the car is fine, they align. Rears are an issue as they do not align and are offset by a bit of a margin. Some sort of adapter would need to be made or alternatively, a new couple of holes would need to be drilled onto the floor (not my preference)

2. Airbag plugs are not same between the SF5 and GRB.
Cut and shut job would need to be done if you want to enable the GRB seat airbags with the overall car's impact detection system.

So, for anyone that has done this, i'd like to know how you went about with items 1 and 2 above. Pics would be great

Nope - but I plan to tackle it at the end of the year when I return from Sweden. Will document it all. But - Bump from me also as it would make my life easier.

yeh MMS did this alot of fking around with rails customised etc..

Old man Rob had it done within a couple of hours, just remember to change over the seat belt clips on the seats before installing the seats otherwise it's a karnt of a job kekekeke
