Blackend headlights
Can someone direct me to as where i can get the standard '05' headlights blackend and the orange indicator plastic removed. Tried to search on here but nothing popped up for some reason.
All msgs muchly appreciated. |

Hey man, most people do it themselves. There's alot of DIY threads to show you how, it's a tricky job. Involves sticking your headlight in the oven, will take alot of time and fiddling around

Oh yeh, thanks for the help guys,
I had a look through it looked pretty simple, I'll pay someone to do it if they're keen......sh!t I'm a lazy bugger hahhaha. Thanks again guys |

hey guys ive read the diy thread on this but im not too keen on doing it myself... would anyone be able to help me out, want the orange taken out and headlights blackened aswell??? would throw some cash or a carton your way.. cheers

ohh and also does anyone know or recommend a place where i can get some angel lights for the peanut eyes... other then ebay, rather support a local then someone from the u.s...

Hey mate, a couple of months ago I ordered a headlight tinting kit from eBay for my 06 sti, but they sent me peanut headlight covers! Ur welcome to have them if u want!

My mate bought Angel Eyes and cant stand them. Unfortunately, i used his old peanut lights to use as spares so i could paint the internals matte black so when i baked my lights to take apart, i could swap everything over, put it all back together and wouldn't need to get another sealer to stick it all together which you might have to do if you haven't got a spare surround. I baked my lights at about 80 deg for about 15 min. Check them every 5 min or so to make sure that your not going to melt your lights.
I remember being a bit hesitant at first, but it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Let us all know how you go. Good luck.
