recommendations to remove exhaust stains from paint and plastic ?

Brother buys this cleaning stuff from the servos. Some people go around selling it. Cant remember what its called... Anywayz you get a few spray cans, that u use to clean ya car. Just spray on, wipe over and its clean. I dont use it myself, but... its awesome for removing exhaust stains, or headlight stains, or anything. Its kind of like polish, but isnt... lol
