old coolant stains
 
i've got rusty coloured coolant stains in the engine bay as a hose blew friday
ok to just use water to remove or something stronger, hope to have the car to Doug this week

Leave them there for Doug to clean :D

Truck wash or CT18 is the go for coolant stains I've found. You may have to brush it around a bit then hose off.
Otherwise I can get the detailers next door to clean it good as new. (they have special secret chemicals)

believe it or not, something good to clean old coolant stains is fresh coolant.

then you wash it down with hot water before it dries and stains again.

glass cleaner works for the build up =)
