My mate has an XL BF Falcon ute and is wanting to put a 10" sub in it, as the factory ICC doesn't have preouts for RCA's and we can't seem to track down any rear speaker wiring (its the base model), we are thinking of running a line level converter off one of the front speakers.

Question is, can you splice/tap into the wires for one of the speakers to connect the line level converter, as well as run the speaker from those wires still?? And does it affect the volume that speaker will put out??
