I used wedding ribbon on my car and my mates for my wedding had no problem with scratches, and no problems with visibility or the popo.

I think the important thing we did was to make sure the ribbon was reasonably tight, so it had no chance to flap around and cause any scratches in the first place.
We wrapped the ribbon around the bonnet catch so that it crossed over at the very front and then closed the bonnet, and then pulled the ribbon back to the tops of the windows and tucked it under the seals (as you have done). Easy! Cheers, Wrxpc |
