Which tail lights?

Hey guys,

Just in need of some opinions, I want to change my rear 2001 bugeye tail-lights because the standard ones look a little bland.

The one's in this video: (Bugeye owners should appreciate this vid ;))

I think there the tail lights off a my05? or sti v8? But im a bit unsure if they will fit because of the little circle part that protrudes out? Anyone know if they can be fitted to a bugeye??

Alternatively..

What's everyone's opinion on these ebay-spec lights:

you need to change the rear bumper to make them fit i think

Ebay lights... Gayer than 6 dudes fucking 1 dude at Perth Steamworks.

Changing over to MY03+ rear lights will require a new bumper to suit.

For the cost, leave them as they are imo. If you are going to change over the rear, may as well change the front to MY06 spec while you are at it.

put on which ever ones you like. its a personal choice for your car not ours.

That would be the easiest way, just depends on how confident you are to cut into a bumper and plastic weld.

Personally I think the 04 up tail lights look a little disjointed with the teardrop.

Leave the srock ones on.

At the most, tint them.
