In other words any plates you get should be for you and you only - if you need advice from people on forum, then you shouldnt be getting plates.

LOL He isn't asking for plate ideas, just advice on materials. Down TJ down :)

I would go slim on front and normal on the back (slim on the back looks crap imo), acrylic or aliminium is really up to you, it's a choice between shiny or dull. My personaly choice would be acrylic.

BALISTC 19-10-2011 02:25 PM

Ally is cheaper, easier to read, but only 7 characters.

Acrylic is more expensive, harder to read, and goes to 9

The acrylic seems to go duller a lot quicker too, where as the aluminium plates stay shiny all the time as long as you keep them clean.

If you can handle the 7 character limit, I'd be going the aluminium plates.

As above, full size on rear and slim on front ftw.

i personally like the metal ones, i think they look better and they last longer ( like Balistc has said ). all three sets of mine are slim front, normal/full size rear.

+1 for metal for above reasons. Cheaper & looks better
