personalised plates?
hey looking to finally get some custom plates.
question for those with them already. acrylic or aluminium? and the slimline over normal size? advise would be appreciated! cheers webby :iamwithst |

In other words any plates you get should be for you and you only - if you need advice from people on forum, then you shouldnt be getting plates.

LOL He isn't asking for plate ideas, just advice on materials. Down TJ down :) I would go slim on front and normal on the back (slim on the back looks crap imo), acrylic or aliminium is really up to you, it's a choice between shiny or dull. My personaly choice would be acrylic. |
Ally is cheaper, easier to read, but only 7 characters.
Acrylic is more expensive, harder to read, and goes to 9 The acrylic seems to go duller a lot quicker too, where as the aluminium plates stay shiny all the time as long as you keep them clean. If you can handle the 7 character limit, I'd be going the aluminium plates. As above, full size on rear and slim on front ftw. |
i personally like the metal ones, i think they look better and they last longer ( like Balistc has said ). all three sets of mine are slim front, normal/full size rear.
