Respraying places in Perth? (WRC Blue)
Went to get a quote yesterday on all of the bodywork that'd need to be done to my wrx (restick some of the kit, buff back & respray the front and back bumpers, some other scratches around the car) and he said roughly about 2500. Not a suprise, really. I figure if im going to spend 2500 on "touching up" my car, i may as well see how much it is for an entire respray.
I've always been a fan of the WRC blue, in fact, it's the colour i've always wanted. is there a place in perth that does resprays in that colour? i'm asusming it's not just a custom colour that any old place can carry? any help would be appreciated. |

1. All paints can be matched. They have a paint code for a reason.
2. Have you tried searching? 3. Full respray will cost you anywhere between $5k and $15k, depending on how detailed you want it to be. |

Ah, cool. Thanks
and no, i honestly had no idea where to even start looking :/ figured i'd ask here and see if someone else had bodywork/paintwork done and could lead me in the right direction. Last edited by trentisim; 26-10-2011 at 09:01 AM. |

Two panel shops I recommend, in no particular order.
Neil - Unique Auto Refinishing. South of the River. Phil - AFM Enterprises. North of the River. Have seen sensational work come from both those places on various Subaru's. |

Personally, dont do the whole respray unless you a- have the cash to burn or b- it needs a new paintjob anyway

WRC blue is very expensive paint.
Went through the exercise a couple of times with a mate when he repaired his WRC Blue rally car after a couple of crashes. I think the new owner had the same cash haemorrhage when he had to repair the car after a slight bump into a tree a couple of years ago too. Good paint shops should be able to match the paint. It requires a lot of skill to feather in new paint when its mettallic. Often easier to re-spray the whole panel.

max green smash repairs, adrain st welshpool. I work there myself, have recently done a tonne of drift damaged silvia's in pretty wild and vibrant colours. Definetly recommend our sprayers work, not trying to be biased or anything as the quote might be higher then other places, i don't know the pricing side. But could be worth while pulling past?
