Had blue neons inside my car when F&F was mad for them, never attracted any attention from the cops, just have them on a switch.

I'm pretty sure that they are legal to have on while your driving as long as they don't change color, and the tube is not visible. As I had blue neons in my Liberty and had always had them on while driving and been pulled up with them on and the cops have never said nothing about them. I did have them on a switch just never bothered to switch them off when I was pulled over.
