installing these into a gc8. i found the clutch, brake and footrest went on without any problems. but it seems the accelerator pedal wont come off, i can see the pin behind it but i cant get it out as i have no room to hit with a hammer. So i tried to pull out the whole pedal assembly as seen in other diy's but it seems that mine is spot welded on makning it impossible to remove..

anyone have any ideas?

You don't actually remove the accelerator pedal, it sits over the top. The pin supplied goes through the pin holding the old pedal on.

To bump a really old thread, all of the discussion above is about changing the pedal faces over from GC8 to GDB.

Has anyone put an entire pedal set (i.e. this set https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141871742521) into a GC8? Only reason I am contemplating doing the entire pedal set is because we're doing an auto to manual conversion, so need a pedal set.
