Rear wing removal
Hey
I have a GC8 model wrx and i am planing to remove the spoiler and i was wondering whats the best way to plug the holes. All i can think of is plugs from a performance shop or getting the boot resprayed. Dose anyone know how good the plugs would ceal the holes? And where to get them? Thanks |

Do you know what size the holes are in the boot?
Isnt it ilegal to take the spoiler off because it has a break light. Dose that sound right? |

yes it is illegal unless you have an brake light mounted inside on the parcel shelf or higher.

yeah i got done by that when i went to get my previous yellow sticker. he said from 1991 or somthing like that every car needs three brake lights. its costing me $80 to put one on my parcel shelf. but i will be moulding one in on my new spoiler

Cant you just wire in a row of leds and put them against your back window?

I've got the parcel shelf light from my 98 Liberty cos I put a rear wiper in its place, should bolt straight in if the mounts are the same $35. PM me if interested but you should be able to velcro the led's in there, possibly up the top like the hatch ones, they are led from memory.
