Hi guys.

I know the old story of it all depends, but wondering if anyone has had a roof resprayed before? I have a black 2006 that I am looking at getting the roof only done as it has some chips. Have been to a few places and the price kind of shocked me a bit as it was a couple grand. Just wondering if this is what I can expect or if I can find a decent shop for a decent price.

A couple of grand sounds a bit interesting but have they factored in removal of any fixed glass 'generally if this is put into a quote they factor in replacement as well as sometimes they crack'.

Have they factored in the replacement of weather strips 'does your model have weather strips on the roof?'.

Its hard to comment on quotes without seeing what's factored into them, but definitely shop around.

Roofs can be 'fun', to repair dependent on whats involved.

You would also maybe have to factor in that it's very hard to blend 2 pack into existing paint so your A pillars C pillars and possibly rear guards would also need to be painted, especially being black, but if it's just the center piece it shouldn't be anywhere near that.

couple grand I would of retired last year hahaha.
