Recommend any Smash Repairers around Willetton

Had my MY10 WRX rear-ended yesterday and have lodged and called the appropriate people.

Just need to take to a smash repairers to get it quoted and schedule for a repair.

Since I live in Willetton, RAC have told me to go to Romano's Smash Repairers.

Has anyone had any experience with these guys?

Can someone recommend another smash repairer.

Damage is concentrated on the bumper and boot lid. Boot lid can't close without pushing it in and even then the car complains that it still open.

Thanks in advance.

Two members of my family have had terrible experiences with romanos.

Would not use

Doesn't have to be Willetton. Don't mind travelling to have the piece of mind it will be done right. Probably needs to be a RAC registered repairer though.

I googled Romano's before I did the original post and saw some bad experiences.

Neil from Unique Auto Refinishers had my car for repairs when I got rear ended.
Couldn't fault the service at all.
He is located in Kenwick so I'm not too sure if this would be too far for you.

Not too far at all.

How long ago was this?

Any idea if he is an RAC repairer (i.e. will RAC accept him as a repairer).

Thanks for the responses!

my girlfriends car was just repaired at romanos, also with RAC insurance
i would strongly recommend not to take it there.
the car was there for 10 weeks at least, and once i got the car back it was covered in overspray and there was a lot of blemishs and other issues with the paint
i was extremely dissapointed with there work!

edit: T and R in welshpool!

Back in March this year.
Was without the car for about 5 to 8 days (including the weekend) as they were waiting on parts.
Didn't bother me as I had other means to get to work.

You could ring up your insurer or ring up Neil and ask if they are authorised to do work for RAC.
If he is, you should be able to take the car there for as assessment as I did.
