08 impreza sat nat retrofit in 2005 wrx
 

Hi All,

So my mate has an 08 impreza satnav/dvd factory unit he no longer needs.:sign13:

I`m looking for advise as to it being able to fit into my 05 wrx

its not the physical size I`m worried about its more the wiring side of things

im looking to keep the interior as low key and factory as possible and think this might be a good way to achieve this.

if anyone has some info that would be great

I am pretty sure it is a straighforward swap in regards to the wiring for your speakers and basic head unit functions.

The Steering wheel controls will not work for obvious reasons, but if you are keen, download a wiring diagram and swap them over?

Or pay someone to do it? Rob @ Volatile car audio I am sure could help.

You should be able to find the wiring information on [URL="http://ae64.com/"]ae64[/URL].
Might even be able to get a harness made up for it already or at least get the bits to do one yourself.
