OEM 4 sure...we pay the insurance companies for a reason...you can always buy a lower lip for it (just keep an extra eye out for kerbs)

If someone in automotive repair & paint is recommending replacement parts in that situation you're gonna have a bad time.

Going through insurance is a different kettle of fish though.

doesn't look that bad, a decent plastic weld and a bit of prep work
spray the whole bumper again, will be good as new.

Doing it on your own might be better as a repair like that maybe less or at least close to your excess payment not to mention not having to make a claim
