I had a UV blocker done on my front windscreen years ago on my R32 golf. Now that I've got a '99 STI with nothing on the windscreen I've noticed a huge difference in heat and the amount I get sunburnt. Will get my front windscreen tinted very soon for sure!

Go to China, most of the cops tint theirs, with mirror tint no less
