Why colour match the silver? Why not go for a nice gunmetal or black. Will look much better then silver.

Or better still just save your $$$ and get STI rims (paint them if they are in average condition) or lash-out even more for after-market wheels.

Those two highlighted colour are the ONLY acceptable colours to be used on PWRX wheels allow....

other colours will need to be poked at picked at and generally lol'd at until you conformed to the PWRX standard colour chart

You will have to conduct a survey/poll to determine if your choice is accepted throughout the WRX community.

Some folks are not overly keen on bright colours

ALLPAWS' Rules for painting/fitting WRX wheels:

1) Pink is only acceptable if u are driving a 10 second STi.

2) Brightly coloured wheels only work when ur car is a shade - not a colour.

3) White wheels work well with white, red or blue paint.

4) Black wheels go well if u have dark tint or black trim.

5) Don't go chrome or two-tone, leave it to the Commonwhores.

6) Rally Style wheels are too f%$king cool, more ppl should go that IMHO.

7) Later Model WRX rims look good and fit older model WRX's well.

8) 18 inches is enough for any man

9) Don't be a tightarse, get some decent rubber put on.

10) Don't ruin ur ride by trying to go Hellaflush, its a trend, u can fill the guards nicely without scraping everything just to get out of a driveway.

Feel free to add ur own comments . .

Pretty spot on.

I agree with the rally/race rims on cars. I spotted a white GC8 with (what looked like) speedlines, looked hot!

^^^ this style.

Cheers Dan, thats a good idea. im a uni student so slowly saving my bucks but just for now obviously its cheaper than buying rims and i have rebuilt them in the past so thought id try it.

What do you reckon would be best on a silver wrx? i was thinking the gunmetal but not sure, or even bronze :P

Save you're money for the rims you want unless that damage and black never fails.
