Yeah a few haha.

Getting the amp performing at its peak is what brings your speakers alive. All the tuning in the world won't help if your trying to combat clipped signal. A real time analyzer and various electrical probes are what the better audio shops use.

If you want some help just lemme know. I'm in Perth until the 8th of Jan.

Cool - Would be a 2hr job to get it fully tuned? Do you have an oscilloscope? Going to that depth is out of my reach, and perhaps un-necessary. Seen a few vids where this is used to ensure the gain settings are bang on to the sub. But I think I can time align it without any problem. Just the amp gains, which is where the oscilloscope can come in handy(?), and sound test CD.

Is there any point time-aligning the rear when you can hardly hear them?

The HPF/LPF settings are also interesting, but for the rear, once again, somewhat not required perhaps.

So i think if I time align the front/sub, get the HP/LP filter settings right, and then tweak the PEQ i should be right. Apart from the amp gains, the whole lot can be done through a smartphone.

I like how the Pioneer DEH-80PRS can do auto time align, whether it's any good, who knows.

I'll write down your settings from the previous post and run them up with my configuration and see how it sounds.

Not even 5 minutes to set gains and filters. Could do a decent tune within 20 and then it'd be up to you to fiddle to your ears preferences
