Defi Gauges - Perfect Run

Hi all, have been having a browse of the interwebs and came across the perfectrun.jp site. The Defi racer gauges seem awfully cheap compared to prices here and was just wondering, am I missing something? They have a Boost gauge for $170 odd compared to $275-$300 here. The others are the same. It seems I can get a set for under $500 when the same set will cost me near $1000. Any thoughts good people?

Oh, I know I don't really need them but the lights make the voices go quiet.

Not sure how these guys compare....also check and see what freight is between the 2. I have bought from these guys before and had good service.

Thanks, I do realise that. But why is there such a huge price difference between them and the ones you buy in Australia? For example Boost Gauge - $314 Australian Site. In summary - Aussie sites are a rip

That's what I thought. Was just hoping for some other explanation. Some sort of import tax or something else to explain it.

Importers cut, freight costs from importer/distributor to retailers, retailers mark up to cover building lease/overheads and wages = high Aussie prices

I've bought many, many things from perfect run & Japan parts; everything I've received has been legitimate.

Nothing wrong with perferctrun. Japan direct is cheaper than aussie retailers thats all.
